Demolition?
A strong likelihood exists that tenders will be called to break up the Wahine where she lies rather than attempt to salvage her, according to the Wellington reporter of “The Press.” A close inspection of the exposed port side today revealed an almost continuous series of cuts, breaks and abrasions running almost the whole length of the ship—from severe injuries at the stern to smaller ones well forward, he said.
