Burtons Plan To Adopt
(N.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) LONDON, April 16. Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton planned to adopt a Vietnamese refugee child, they told friends today. "We are deeply concerned about the Vietnam war,” Burton said on the set of his new film, “Where Eagles Dare.” “There’s very little we can do about it, but adopting a child might add one little globule to the already vast sea of effort to relieve suffering.”
