B.H.P. Finds Nickel

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE, April 17. The Broken Hill Proprietary Company, Ltd, and its partner, the Internationa) Nickel Company of Canada, Ltd, have found coppernickel mineralisation in exploration near Widgiemooltha, about 100 miles from Kaigoorlie, Western Australia, B.H.P. announced this afternoon. The best result from this drilling averaged 0.89 per cent nickel and 0.06 per cent copper over 16.8 ft. The dip of the sulphide zone has not been determined and the true thickness is likely to be less. Values of 1 per cent nickel are generally considered payable providing sufficient ore can be proved.
