Inquiry Into Death
The police are investigating the death on Tuesday afternoon of Mrs Te Karere Piri Wiri Tua Lilley, of 1 Wimborne Crescent, Wainoni. Mrs Lilley was found about 4.50 p.m. on a couch in her living-room with blood about her nose. A post-mortem examination was carried out yesterday, and more tests will be made in the next few days. Detective Inspector M. T. Churches, of the Christchurch Criminal Investigation Branch, said yesterday that at present there was nothing suspicious.
