1969 Event In Auckland

AUCKLAND. Despite tentative suggestions that the contest be held either in Napier or Christchurch, the 1969 interDominion Flying Dutchman races between Australia and New Zealand will be sailed next Easter in Auckland waters. The New Zealand Flying Dutchman Class Association has decided to hold the nations! championships in conjunction with the interDominion event. The two leading New Zealand yachts will, finance permitting, later compete in the world championships at Kiel. The first New Zealand yacht will compete in the world event and the second yacht in the “FD Week” to be held at the same time. i
