B.O.A.C. RACE.—The Belgian Grand Prix driver, J. ickx, and B. Redman, of Britain, driving a Ford GT, won the second 8.0.A.C. International 500 race at Brands Hatch, Kent, recently. The car is shown during the event. After six hours driving, the gap between the 4.7-litre Ford GT and the second car, a 2.2-litre Porsche, was only 21sec, and the victory was won by the pits team as well as by the drivers. The Ford had only two stops, both quickly carried out, against three for the Porsche.
