Two Trucks Collide
Two men were injured when two light trucks (shown above) collided at the corner of Canon and Manchester Streets about 7.35 ajn. yesterday.
Basil Borthwick, of 50 Malvern Street, suffered head and chest injuries. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital where his condition last evening was reported to be satisfactory.
Kenneth Wakelin. of 253 Cranford Street, also suffered head and chest injuries. Hewas treated and discharged. In another accident, Maxwell Glanville, of 24 Mooray Avenue, suffered head injuries when his motor-cycle struck a dog in Mooray Avenue about 12.15 p.m. He was admitted to Christchurch Hospital where his condition last evening was reported to be satisfactory.
A pedestrian, Duncan MacMillan, of 52 Rayburn Avenue suffered face, leg and arm injuries when a car struck him in Papanui Road near the Papanui Post Office about 7.15 p.m. yesterday. He was admitted to Christchurch Hospital where his condition last evening was reported to be satisft-.tory.
