$50,000 In Relief Fund
fN.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 16. There is $50,000 left in the relief fund set up for the families of men drowned when the collier Kaitawa sank off Cape Maria Van Dieman in 1966, the chairman of the fund committee (Mr G. H Forsyth) said today. The money is being adminis tered by the Public Trustee for the benefit of about 30 children until they are selfsupporting he said. A sum of $50,000 was used to help the families of the Kaitawa men. Wheat Cargo.—The Canterbury Steam Shipping Company's motor vessel Calm, which has been laid up at Lyttelton this month because of cargo shortage, is now expected to recommission this week and load approximately 1000 tons of bulk wheat at 'he Lyttelton silo for Tauranga.
