TROTTING Allakasam’s Wins Place Fallacy At Top Of List

Allakasam’s wins in a qualifying heat and the Easter Cup Final resulted in her sire, Fallacy, topping the list at the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s Easter meeting which ended on Saturday.

The only other contributor to Fallacy’s total of $8450 was Doctor Barry, which received $125 for a fourth in the Easter Cup Consolation Race. Allakasam has now had 14 wins for her Methven breedertrainer, C. J. McLaughlin. Her 75 starts have also resulted In 17 placings and she has won $31,210 in stakes. Stakes and trophies distributed at the meeting amounted to $62,800. These were shared by the progeny of 41 stallions, of which 15 were imported from the United States. Of these only four are still available to breeders in New Zealand.
