Collision Ship Replaced

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 16. The agents for American Farrell Lines, Dalgety and New Zealand Loan, Ltd, have advised that the African Crescent, a replacement vessel for the African Star, is due in Auckland on May 3 with the line’s trial shipment of containers.

The African Star, originally due from New Orleans with about a dozen containers last month, was delayed indefinitely after a collison and fire in the Gulf of Mexico. The African Crescent, a similar ship, has her cargo. After landing the containers in Auckland, she will go to Australia, and will probably return to pick up the full containers. , . , ,
