AUSTRALIAN ARRESTED
I (ff.Z. Press Association) 1 NEW PLYMOUTH, Apr. 14. An Australian, John Frederick Poyner, aged 35, arrested at the Chateau Tongariro on a provisional warrant on behalf of the Australian police, appeared before Mr W. H. Kydd, Justice of the Peace, at Taumarunui on Saturday. He was remanded in cus- < tody to appear at Auckland 1 on April 19 where extradition ■ proceedings will commence before a Magistrate. ' Detective J.
