BORROWED FROM THE BOYS, this gingercoloured three-piece was an up-to-the-minute suit with a difference. Miss Annabel Rillstone flouted convention by tying her hair back with a beige silk scarf instead of wearing a hat, and knotted a brown tie at the neck of her cream, tan, and black check man’s shirt The slightly flared line of the waistcoat is repeated in the long jacket and the skirt is cut on the bias. Her accessories were brown.
