Annual Cricket Match The Hutt Valley Cricket Club scored its first win over the Riccarton club in four matches when it won the annual Easter match outright, by 87 runs, at Hagley Oval on Sunday and yesterday. The former New Zealand fast bowler, R. W. Blair, played a leading part in Hutt’s victory, scoring 33 and 40 retired, and taking several cheap wickets. I Scores: —Hutt Valley 239 (A. Makeham 49, R. Hargreaves 45, Blair 33; C. HazelI dine 4/36) and 156/7 dec. I (Makeham 49 retired, Blair 40 iretired) beat Riccarton 159 (M. Somers 34, B. Foote 30) and 149 (J. Center 60: Blair 13/15) outright by 87 runs.
