Dachshund Club’s Show

Sixty-five entries from four varieties were shown at the Canterbury Dachshund Club’s show held recently at Domain Terrace Park, Spreydon. The judge was Mr L. L. Grant of Victoria, Australia.

Mrs M. M. Lightfoot’s English New Zealand Ch. Silvae Defender (imp.) was judged best dog in the show and the award for reserve best was won by Mrs D. M. Cocker’s Ch. Ruslene Dinah Lee. Mrs E. Cantwell’s Mercedes Watkins Glen was the best puppy in the show and the reserve best was D. A. Peters’s Leura Ladd.
