P. J. SILVER SUSPENDED
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL. The Wingatui horseman, P. J. Silver, had his licence suspended for two riding days—until the end of racing tomorrowafter a charge of causing interference had been upheld by the judicial committee of the Riverton Racing Club on Saturday Soon after straightening for the run home in the Pourakino Handicap, Certain (Silver) shifted ground outwards when trying to get to the better going and, when not sufficiently ciear, checked Gars (L. C. Edwards), which was on the outside. M. J. Lawson was fined $lO for using faulty gear on Waterfront in the Visitors* Handicap.
