Family Clinic Busy
The treasurer of the Christchurch branch of the Family Planning Association (Mrs B. Chaston) reported that the clinic sessions had been very busy this year. Mrs J. Chaston, who has retired after many years as chairman of the association, was presented with a gift. Officers elected are:—Patron, Lady Manning; president, Mrs D. H. Heaps; secretary. Mrs N. Haynes; treasurer, Mrs B. Chaston; deputy president, Mrs B. Chaston; committee, Dr M. Gray, Mesdames A. Beckett, S. Gilroy, B. Halliburton, N. Lyttle, D. McCahon, E. Mclvor, E. Nash. M. Newman, O. Thomas, J. Eggleston, C. E. Stanley, K. Stokes, D. Field: vice-presi-dents, Professor H. Field, Dr H. Field, Mrs N. Hampton and N. Sutherland: deputy Dominion president, Mrs P. Zeff; Dominion liaison officer, Mrs J. Lunn.
