Bank Robber Remanded
CVZ. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 12. A man who grabbed $7B off the counter of a bank in Wellington and made off with it was a penniless Australian, according to police evidence given in the Magistrate's Court. Appearing before Mr R. D. Jamieson, S.M., was Terrance Edward Athol Crawley, aged 24. an unemployed spray painter, who pleaded guilty to the theft. Crawley, who asked the Magistrate to “get it over with and sentence me,” was remanded in custody until April 19 for a probation report and sentence.
