“The Press’' Special Service AUCKLAND. Master John and Multi Chief, both from Pukekoho, may be the best of a large number of horses from northern stables at the Hawera Trotting Club’s meeting today. Master John has won his last two races and Multi Chief scored impressively over two miles at Palmerston North last Saturday. Keen interest will be taken in Eastern Star’s showing. It is seldom these days that trotters win against pacers but Eastern Star won so impressively on each of the first two nights of the Manawatu meeting that he must be given a fine chance.
