Ronray To Run In Stakes
Ronray, a double acceptor for Riccarton on Monday. was scratched on Thursday for the Papanui Handicap and will run in the Warstep Stakes. She earned a start in the richer race with a second at Rangiora on April 1 in her first start after a spell. My Greatest, a light-weight in the Warstep Stakes, was exercised on the No. 9 grass at Riccarton yesterday. She arrived at Riccarton on Thursday with her stablemates. The Greatest and Colour Bar.
The Mosgiel owner-trainer. Mr G. B. Thomson, also arrived on Thursday with Middy. Tarata. and Sandv.
Tarata, a last-start winner in the Champagne Stakes field, will be ridden by F. H. Skelton. Sandy will race on the second day of the meeting.
