The Australian, Mrs M. Court, won through to the final of the South African tennis championships yesterday by defeating Miss A. van Zyl (South Africa), 9-7. 6-0, Associated Press reported.
In the final she will meet Miss V. Wade (Britain), who beat another Australian, Miss K. Krantzke, 6-1, 6-1, in the other semi-final.
The men’s singles finalists are M Riessen (United States), who beat R. Moore (South Africa), 6-4, 6-1, 7-5, and T. Okker (Netherlands), who defeated C. Graebner (United States), 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 5-7, 6-3.
