Townswomen’s Guild

Mrs S. G. Turner welcomed the Dominion president (Mrs C. G. Crawford) to the annual meeting of the Christchurch North Townswomen’s Guild. An ornamental flower bowl was presented to Mrs Turner. She has been president for five years. The Hames Cup for the most points was won by Mrs E. P. Lynch. The Russell Cup for the best bloom was won by Mrs D. R. Bishop. Mrs P. Folded Wings.—Officers elected at the inaugural meeting of the Christchurch branch of the Folded Wings Association were as follows: President, Mrs D. Sinha; vicepresident, Mrs Z. Harris; secretary, Mrs G. Riley; treasurer, Mrs R. McKenzie, committee, Mesdames I. McPhail, D. Wighton, R. Newton, S. Stewart.
