PAPANUI W.D.F.F.
Talks on a variety of subjects and demonstrations of cooking and floral art had been presented at meetings of the Papanui branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers, the president (Mrs E. Glynan) reported at the annual meeting. Members had contributed goods for Templeton hospital, the Red Cross, and Bethany Maternity Hospital. Officers elected: President, Mrs E. Glynan; vice-presi-dents, Mesdames E. W. Rodgers, R. Nicholls; treasurer, Mrs H. W. Shields; secretary, Mrs M. Dwyer; committee, Mesdames A. F. Beatty, J. D. Clark, L. Prinsep, D. Smith, B. M. Tarlton, M. G. Ferguson.
