Springlo Likely In Big Mile

Springlo will win the Manawatu Mile at Awapuni tomorrow If he can produce the same telling gallop he mustered towards the finish of last Saturday’s Ascot Handicap. The gelding has improved since his arrival in Palmerston North and there will not be a fitter galloper in the first leg of the Manawatu Racing Club’s T.A.B double. Jetmate is favoured to win the second leg of the T.A.B. double, the Epsom Handicap.
