(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 21. Minimum deposits for the purchase of furniture and furnishings have been reduced from 15 per cent to 10 per cent and the credit period for payment of the remaining 90 per cent has been Increased from 18 months to 24 months. These amendments to the Hire Purchase and Credit Sales Stabilisation Regulations, 1957, were gazetted tonight. They will come into effect tomorrow.
