POLLARD RESTING
The New Zealand cricketer, V. Pollard, will not play for any Christchurch elub in the final round of the season. Pollard, who is now in Christchurch at Teachers’ College, recently arrived after the test series against India. Pollard feels he has had a surfeit of cricket this season, with winter training with the New Zealand team, a tour to Australia, and a Plunket Shield series before the games against India. He also has his studies to coneentrate on.
