New Library Block
(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, March 18. Tenders are to be called for a new library block at the Aranui High School, the member for Avon (Mr J. Mathison) has been advised by the Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella). The roll at the school has been steadily increasing since Its establishment in 1960, and has now reached well over 1000.
The existing library accommodation is being replaced by a new double-unit library' block to meet the demands of this large roll, and once this is completed the present space can revert to use as a general classroom. Another four classrom units are being planned and these are expected to be available shortly after the library block is completed.
