Star Belle Impresses
"The Press” Special Service PALMERSTON NORTH.
Star Belle was in great form at Awapuni yesterday morning. She beat Serena by three lengths in a dashing trial over seven furlongs on the plough. Serena was badly in need of the gallop, but this could not detract from the brilliance shown by Star Belle.
The Sires’ Produce Stakes runner, Palamos, was another to excel.
