Fashion For Charity
“High Fashion Around the World” will b- the theme of a parade of New Zealand and overseas fashion on Tuesday. March 26, at the White Heron Lodge, to raise funds for the Cancer Research Association Local manufacturers and stores will be presenting men’s and women’s clothing which will include the new maxi-length skirts and a bonded collection of synthetic garments flown from Europe. Five male models and seven girls, including “Miss Canterbury” (Miss Aroha Manawatu) will show the collection.
Dinner will be served before the parade, which will be compered by Miss Eva Sproot and Mrs Nola Kelleher
