WELLINGTON, March 19. A total of 73 “farm deaths” were recorded in 1967—seven more than in 1966.
Preliminary figures for 1967, with those of 1966 in parenthesis, were: Tractors 32 (31), drownings 16 (7), animals 7 (4), firearms 5 (1), machinery 3 (5), fires and chemicals 4 (12), miscellaneous 6 (6). Totals, 73 (66).
