HAYES, Town Clerk. 7822 WHEEL LOAD SURVEY THE NATIONAL ROADS BOARD, in its efforts to obtain further design information for State Highways, have initiated a programme of wheel load surveys, one of which is to be carried out on State Highway No. 6, Hira. on Monday, March 25, and Tuesday, March 26, 1968, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Random samples of commercial vehicles will be asked to stop and have wheels on one side only checked on portable scales. These weights will provide further information needed for pavement design. Since only one side of the vehicle will be weighed, the information cannot be used for prosecution purposes. The National Roads Board ask all drivers so requested to cooperate in this survey J. G.
