Club Letting Approved
The Town and Country Planning Appeal Board has disallowed an appeal against the Christchurch City Council’s decision to allow the Western Association Football Club to let its Westminster Street hall.
The board says that the conditions imposed by the council were reasonable, but it adds two—that the elub shall have the building ‘‘soundproofed" to the satisfaction of the City Engineer if he requires that at any time, and that all parties shall have leave to apply to the board for an interpretation or variation of any of the conditions.
