LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
(1) Letters sent to the Editor for printing should preferably be typed, otherwise they must be written in ink on one side of the paper only A legible signature and full address are required whether these are to be published or not. A P.O. box number is not a sufficient address. (2) Writers must say clearly whether or not their letters are being or have been sent to other papers. (3) The Editor cannot return or keep any letter which for any reason is unsuitable for printing; nor can he acknowledge unsuitable letters although this will be done where it seems to be needful, or enter Into any correspondence (4) Letters must not be of more than 150 words.

McMillan. —No space to widen the subject. Early to Bed.—You should write to the N.Z.B.C. Sadie. —We shall not be discussing “Spotty” here. Braemar Anderson.—An oblique approach to a subject not at present open for discussion. Red Deans and Rice.—We might see our way clear to print it if you could see your way clear to say what it is about. • C.G.A.—You do not observe our rules and you do not explain the relevance of the wellknown fact to which you refer. Festival.—Mr L. Boyes, public relations officer for the N.Z.8.C., says that the corFioration wished to make a ive outside telecast of the military tattoo but the Auckland Festival Committee declined this suggestion, feeling that the attendance of spectators might be seriously reduced. The N.Z.B.C. cance and would not justify the very high coat of diming and editing. Coverage will therefore be confined to a news items from AKTV-2.
