Russian Award To Author

The Australian author, Jack Lindsay, has been decorated with the Soviet badge of honour, the Znak Pocheta, in the Soviet Embassy in Kensington, London, “The Times” reported yesterday.
The Soviet Ambassador, Mr Mikhail Smirnovsky, spoke of Mr Lindsay’s long and fruitful work in translating Russian prose and poetry.
