Fast 220 Yards
The former New Zealand triple sprint champion, D. W. Mackenzie (University), ran a particularly fast time in winning the 220 yards event at the inter-club athletics meeting at Ensors Road last evening.
Mackenzie ran the distance in 22.65ec on a soft track, narrowly beating his club-mates, G. McKechnie and M. Poulson.
