W.C.T.U. Elects Officers

NELSON, March 12. All national officers of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union were reappointed at the annual conference which ended at Stoke yesterday. The national president (Mrs C. Toomer, of Nelson) told delegates upon being reappointed that she would be happy to continue for another year and then would stand down. Other officers for 1968-69 are: vice-president, Mrs K. V. Grigg, Wellington; corresponding secretary, Mrs M. Kirkham, Wakefield; treasurer, Mrs Z. I. Hayward, Taranaki; assisted by Mrs E. Puch, Christchurch; recording secre|taiy, Mrs A. G. Jarvis, Waingantri East; director of the legal and parliamentary deI partment, Mrs L. K. V. Grigg.
