Victory By An Innings
St Andrew's College beat Scots College, Welllngtion, by an innings and seven runs when it dismissed Scots College for 145 in its second innings yesterday. A fine third-wicket partnership of 88 between N. Smith and the captain, R. Carter, restrained St Andrew’s for some time but the last wickets fell quickly. Smith scored a most competent 52 after being injured and later resuming his innings. M. Sidey. who took three for 28 off 28 overs, and another opening bowler. D. Livesay, five for 18 off 18 overs, were the most successful bowlers. Scores.—St Andrew’s College 242; Scots College 90 and 145.
