ALCOHOLISM STUDIED

(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON N., Feb. 7. An educational programme for industry on the nature and extent of alcoholism was suggested by a former Minister of Education, Mr W. B. Tennent, at Massey University last night. He was opening a three-day school of alcohol studies at the university. The school is organised by the National Society on Alcoholism and is attended by more than 130 persons, including nuns, priests, ministers of religion, members of the Salvation Army, doctors, psychiatrists and social workers.
