Kalgoorlie In Sprint
"The Press” Special Service WANGANUI. Kalgoorlie will probably run in the Wanganui Flying Thousand in preference to the weight-for-age Jackson Stakes at the Wanganui Jockey Club's meeting on Saturday. Kalgoorlie will travel from Te Rapa to Wanganui today under the supervision of the stable horseman, M. A. Long, who will ride him on Saturday. Kalgoorlie’s regular rider B. K. Long, is in hospital with tonsilitis.
