LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL PLANNING OFFICER This is a new position in the Town Planning Section of the City Engineer’s— Department, and is an opportunity for a young man wanting to work in the town planning field. Preference would be given to a person already qualified in town planning, but persons with a suitable university degree, or who are already qualified in architecture or engineering, will be considered. It is possible that a bursary would be granted to enable the appointee to attend the Town Planning Diploma course at the University of Auckland. Previous experience in town planning is not essential. Commencing salary will be in accordance with age. qualifications and previous experience, but the present upper limit for this position is $4900 per annum.
