SOCCER’S NO. 1
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The 21-year-old Auckland and New Zealand representative full-back, C. W. Latimour, has been named New Zealand “soccer player of the year.”
Latlmour was a member of the New Zealand team which played in Vietnam, Malaysia and Australia last year and has been a regular member of the Auckland team for the last two seasons.
Latlmour was born In Rangoon, Burma, but has lived in New Zealand for 18 years.
