SEARCH FOR ESCAPER

DUNEDIN, Feb. 6. Three police dog handlers from Dunedin went today to Baldutha, to search, for Eruera John Howard, an escaper from Paparua Prison.
Howard, who escaped from Paparua Prison on January 30 with Arthur Byron Pearce, who has since been captured, was believed to be in the Ashburton area last week.
Oyster Farm.—The Bay of Plenty’s first oyster farm has been licensed on a five-acre site in Ohiwa Harbour.
