FATHER SUES HIGHSCHOOL

A Chicago lawyer has announced that he is suing a high school for SUS3IO,OOO in damages because his 15-year-old son has been suspended from classes for having side-bums and hair that hung over his ears. The lawyer (Mr Paul Hamer), who has filed the suit in the Lake County Circuit Court, is also seeking a writ to order the school to readmit his' son.
He says the boy was suspended two weeks ago In the middle of examinations and had been prevented from taking five of his final tests. Named in the suit are the school’s board, its superintendent and the principal.
