Mr W. W. Buchanan, of Greymouth, was yesterday elected president of the Interflora Pacific Unit He has been a florist for 26 years and is the first president from the West Coast.
Mr D. Campbell, who has been senior inspector of primary schools in Canterbury and Westland since 1966, will leave this week to join the head office staff of the Education Department in Wellington. He was recently appointed district senior inspector in Hawke’s Bay, but was later posted to the head office with equivalent status. Mr Campbell has been nationally prominent in planning the new science curriculum for primary and intermediate schools. I
