IMPORT LIST
Fewer Items In March (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 5. The Government had Tjust about” completed the final decisions necessary to enable the completion of the 1968-69 import licensing schedule, the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said tonight. Speaking at a press conference, Mr Holyoake confirmed that there would be further items removed from the import licence list this year, the total value of which would amount to “a considerable sum.”
He could not say for certain, but he anticipated that the schedule would be published at the normal time — the end of March.
