Daytona To Porsche

German Porsches, with V. Elford, an Englishman, driving the winner, took the first three places in the 24-hour sports car Daytona endurance race.
It made no difference who had the wheel of the winning car. It was so far ahead that five unnecessary driver changes were made in the last two hours, so each member of the Porsche team could share the honour of the triumph. At the end, three cars swept across the finish line abreast.
