Ice Hockey Qualifiers

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) GRENOBLE. Finland, West Germany and East Germany have qualified to play in the gold medal pool of the Olympic ice hockey tournament.

They all won qualifying games to decide the remaining three places among the eight teams in group A. The teams which had already been given places in the top group are the Soviet Union, Czechoslovakia, Sweden, Canada and the United States.

In qualifying games, Fin land beat Jugoslavia 11-2, East Germany beat Norway 3-1, and West Germany beat Rumania 7-0. The losers will play in group B of the tournament.
