Three Hurt In Collision
When two cars collided in Opawa Road, Christchurch, on Saturday evening three persons were injured. Irene Tutty, of 111 Garlands Road, suffered head and leg injuries and David Fitzgerald, of 95 Sullivan Avenue, head injuries. They were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. Ray George McKnight, of 33 Walton Street, was treated for chest injuries. Two In Hospital. Two women were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital suffering from head injuries after two cars collided at the corner of Moorhouse Avenue and Lancaster Street at 4.30 p.m. on Saturday. They are Is) a Porteous, of the nurses’ home at Princess Margaret Hospital, and Mary Collins, of 170 Papanui Road.
Struck By Car. Lance Michael Doody, a child, of 4 Soberton Street, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital suffering from head injuries after he was struck by a car at the comer of Colombo and Hereford Streets at 12.2 p.m. on Saturday.
