Chief Judge In Form Today

"The Press" Special Service

BLENHEIM.

Chief Judge should again be hard to beat in the Schenley’s Gin Handicap, the first leg of the T.A.B. double on the second day of the Marlborough Trotting Club’s meeting today.

He was narrowly beaten on Saturday after being slow early and he was a decisive winner over tho same distance at Nelson.

Young Prince may bo his strongest rival after his fine performance in the second division of the Breayley Memorial Handicap. Imperial Way, another newcomer to this class, finished fast to win the first division of the Breayley Memorial Handicap, and he could show further improvement. Boy Logan, Winning Song and Shadydale should do best of the others.

Cardane and Bragen are expected to make amends for their failures on Saturday when they contest the Marfell Handicap, the second leg of this double. Honest Sal wil be hard to beat in her present form and Darcy, Aroma and Hi Dryden have the best form of the others. Selections:—
