Sir Barton Picked
"The Press" Special Serines NAPIER. Sir Barton’s effort in the Nolen Memorial Handicap at Te Kupenga on Saturday will assure him of favouritism for the Carroll Memorial Handicap, first leg of the T.A.B. double at Walroa today. But his task will not be gn easy one. The northern gallopers, Royal Poet, Calm Comet, and High Voltage, all ran like improvers on Saturday, and the fresh runner, Norma's Lass, which has been seeking at more pretentious prizes lately, could make matters difficult.
Norma’s Lass Is also engaged in the second leg, the President’s Handicap, and after her form earlier tn the season she could win. Selections:—
