Woman Killed When Car Ran Down Hill

DUNEDIN, February 4. A 19-year-old married woman was killed when a car crashed out of control down a bank in Stafford Street, Dunedin, about 10.50 p.m. on Saturday. She was
Patricia Isabel Wilson, of 1 Nairn Street, Dunedin. The accident occurred after the car had stalled and was apparently being pushed F or restarting. Friends helped Allan Douglas Wilson, r.ged 25, husband of the dead woman, to push the car. Mrs Wilson was behind the wheel and swung the car round to face downhill.
I She had intended to stop the car in this position but t it gathered speed. s The car crashed down a r bank. The injured woman was either thrown or jumped • from the car. i She was found about 3ft i from the top of the bank, » some distance from where the ? car came to rest. Mrs Wilson was taken to hospital but died at 12.20 p.m.
